Climbing in poland : Poland is homeland of some of greatest climbers of all time (Kukuczka, Rutkiewicz, Wielicki). Knowing that, one can be surprised how few rocks and mountains you can find in this country. Also public perception of this sport in Poland is far from true image (A ye, climbers, ar mad those folks! Aren't they! Freezing they asses of up o this mountains! Nonsense, innit? They will better find some job, bloody hippies!) Any way you can still find plenty of excellent climbing in Poland, if you know where to look for. Awesome sandstone bouldering, hard granit sport and trad climbs, powerfull limestone. Mountaniering, modern and old school climbing. Everything in amusing setting of green forests and fields. Place worth a visit? Definitely!
